Costumes Styles
Traditional Classical Ballet Tutu
A corset style fitted bodice is designed and made using exquisite fabrics, laces and braids. The attached tutu skirt of 8-10 layers of quality stiff net is hooped and tacked pancake style.
Traditional Stretch Classical Ballet Tutu
A stretch style tutu is designed and made from excellent quality lycra (spandex) or stretch velvet. The 8-9 layer attached net skirt is tacked pancake style. Exquisite laces and braids are used to adorn the tutu.
Classical Ballet Variation Costumes
Classical Variation Costumes are made based on clients requirements. Using exquisite fabrics and embellishments costumes are designed to create maximum impact on stage. Examples include Aurora, Paquita, Sugarplum, Giselle, Pas de Trois. Any variation requests can be accommodated.

Do you take orders for overseas and interstate clients?
Yes I do, costumes can be either posted standard or express. Postage is an additional cost
How long does it take for a tutu to be made?
Usually 6 weeks for a fully embellished tutu. Times may vary due to amount of orders in the system.
How long before my required date should I place an order?
As soon as you know you will be requiring a costume. As my order book fills up quickly, even if you don’t know what style you require you should book in an order.
What type of warranty do you provide (on custom work)?
Faulty workmanship as deemed by Divine Classical Ballet Tutus will be repaired for free. Undue stress on the costume, normal wear and tear or alterations will incur a charge, postage will be paid by the client if required.
What are your prices?
Send an enquiry to receive a full price list. Due to the complexity of the creation of a custom made costume, price is dependent on the various components incorporated into the design.
What are your terms and conditions?
As part of a quotation you will receive the t’s and c’s. Once the confirmation deposit is paid you have agreed to the terms and conditions.
How much deposit is required to confirm order ?
Ballet Tutus $200AUD deposit is required, all other costumes require $100AUD deposit. Your order is not confirmed until deposit has been received.
What if I cancel my order after paying the deposit?
If the costume has not been commenced a $50AUD administration fee will be charged. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded.
